Welcome to my little corner of the web. So what's this all about? Its about gaming, video games, and table top RPG's. I'm going to chat on here about the games I play as well as anything else that may catch my interest that I want to share with others including conversions I may have made, or unique creations I have made.
What its all about...
As a fan of table top Role Playing Games, and Video Games, not to mention anime I once had a web site that I devoted to creating conversions of the things I liked to a particular game system or another.
Well I'm back and its time to get back to posting and talking about the things I like with others.
Video Games: I will be trying to write reviews for games I play and may even work out conversions of games to table top RPG's for gamers to enjoy, or at least I will give a guiding hand rather than doing all the work myself. Unfortunately the only game system I own is an X-Box 360, and my computer which kind of limits what I can do. Unless some kind soul wants to buy me an X-Box One. :)
Table Top RPG's: I play a few different table top games along with my friends. Sometimes I will write about a game system I have read up on or tried out, and may write up a conversion for agame system. Game systems I typically play are - Hero System (Champions, Fantasy Hero); Star Wars (Fantasy Flight Version, Saga Edition); Savage Worlds, D&D (3.5 Edition, 5th Edition); Pathfinder, and possibly others in the future.
But I look forward to providing folks with some entertainment and to get some discussions going on things I may post (but please keep it civil).
Also please feel free to click on any ads that are on my blog here, doing so really helps me out.

Interview with Hero System staff member Jason Walters
I am back again and this time with something a bit different. I figured if I'm going to write a blog I might as well attempt to do some interviews via e-mail.
My first interview is with Jason Walters, a staff member at Hero Games. Now if you haven't already caught on, the Hero System is my favorite system and I advocate for anyone/everyone to give it a shot.
I basically sent a short series of questions covering a few topics. Yesterday I got my responses.
========================================================================
My first question is one that I've wondered about for a while now ever since I got into using the Hero System. How come there's no mini's for Champions? I've long wondered about this and figured now's the time to ask. The current array of mini's on the market is more or less devoid of decent super hero type mini's. So are there any plans to possibly use Kickstarter to launch a campaign to create some Champion's Mini's?
There have been over the years I believe a few releases of limited edition paintable miniatures for the Champions Universe. However, at this point the characters in that universe are owned by Cryptic Studios, the company that released the Champions Online MMORPG.
With that said, those of us who belonged to the Masonic Street Irregulars - the gaming group that formed DOJ Inc. and bought the Hero System IP from Cybergames - always used to use HeroClix figurines for our games. Some of us even repainted and customized them. Darren Watts (the original president of DOJ) had boxes and boxes of the things.
So this is a question that you probably get alot, but are there any plans to bring Hero Designer onto mobile devices like smartphones or tablets. As a gamer I know that being able to use these devices to create and track characters is incredibly helpful, but most of the time we're limited to just using a PDF or other document. Are there any plans to put out a version of Hero Designer for these platforms?
Not until they can support the version of Java the software was created to run in. Creating and maintaining Hero Designer required - and requires - a lot of work on Dan Simon's part. And he is typically very well paid for his time, so its kind of a paid hobby for him. I don't think he has the time to start over from scratch for other platforms.
Champions Online was a great attempt to get into the MMORPG market, but this seems to have been the only thing from Hero Games. Are you guys looking at possibly making an RPG for the PC (and/or Consoles) that is more of an actual RPG rather than MMO that exists in the Champions setting?
We're basically a cross between book publisher and a fan club; so that kind of thing requires resources that are way, way beyond what we can bring to bear. However, if a serious software publishing company wants to come with us to make and MMO or RPG based on the Hero System rule set, we would be more than happy to hear from them.
Do you have any new products in the works that your excited about that you can clue me and my readers in on?
We've just released Fantasy Hero Complete, which I am very pleased with. We're definitely going to release a Golden Age Champions supplement for Champions Complete whenever Darren is finished with the manuscript. Past that I'm not prepared to say, other than I'm talking to various interesting people about doing various interesting things.
What does the future hold for the Hero System? I know that in the gaming world you often have to keep looking forward and figuring out how to get to that next level, so will we see a 7th Edition in the future that is more refined than 5th and 6th Editions of the game?
We have no plans at this time to do a 7th Edition of the system. Going forward, I would like to see us focus on rules complete books like Champions Complete, Fantasy Hero Complete, and Monster Hunter International as a way of interesting more people in playing the game.
