What its all about...

As a fan of table top Role Playing Games, and Video Games, not to mention anime I once had a web site that I devoted to creating conversions of the things I liked to a particular game system or another.

Well I'm back and its time to get back to posting and talking about the things I like with others.

Video Games: I will be trying to write reviews for games I play and may even work out conversions of games to table top RPG's for gamers to enjoy, or at least I will give a guiding hand rather than doing all the work myself. Unfortunately the only game system I own is an X-Box 360, and my computer which kind of limits what I can do. Unless some kind soul wants to buy me an X-Box One. :)

Table Top RPG's: I play a few different table top games along with my friends. Sometimes I will write about a game system I have read up on or tried out, and may write up a conversion for agame system. Game systems I typically play are - Hero System (Champions, Fantasy Hero); Star Wars (Fantasy Flight Version, Saga Edition); Savage Worlds, D&D (3.5 Edition, 5th Edition); Pathfinder, and possibly others in the future.

But I look forward to providing folks with some entertainment and to get some discussions going on things I may post (but please keep it civil).

Also please feel free to click on any ads that are on my blog here, doing so really helps me out.

The Seven Deadly Sins - Now on Netflix!

I've been reading the manga for this anime for most of this year.  Its a fun manga to read with plenty of action and some comedy as well.  A fantasy anime, the manga follows a young woman, a princess named Elizabeth who is on a quest to find a group of legendary criminals and former knights of the kingdom of Liones (her kingdom).  She needs to find these criminals as the Holy Knights of her kingdom have turned against the royal family and imposed their own martial law on the land.  And she just so happens to come across the leader of the group Meliodas who is seeking out his old comrades for his own reasons.

They, and their soldiers, treat the people of the land like trash, doing whatever they feel like.  The anime follows the first arc of their story (the manga is now into a second arc involving the revival of the Demon Clan).

As for the cast:

Elizabeth and Hawk BookmarkElizabeth Liones is the third princess of the Kingdom of Liones, an adopted daughter of King Liones, and is originally from the kingdom of Danafor.[3] She is the main female protagonist and begins working as a waitress at Boar Hat bar when she joins Meliodas in his journey to find the Seven Deadly Sins.

While she is very girly, she is easy going and puts up with Meliodas's pervy antics with her and she possess a sense of conviction and purpose that impresses Meliodas.

Meliodas 2 BookmarkMeliodas is the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins and is the Dragon's Sin of Wrath. He is the owner of the renowned Boar Hat, and the main protagonist of the series.  Though short in stature and often mistaken as a child he is anything but one.

His power is without equal and he has a major secret that is kept for most of the first part of the anime/manga.  Meliodas is fearless and unfortunately for Elizabeth he's a perv who gropes her and looks up her skirt whenever he has a free chance too.

Diane BookmarkDiane is one of the members of the Seven Deadly Sins and is known as the Serpent's Sin of Envy. She is a member of the Giant Clan, and is thus much larger than ordinary people, including her fellow Deadly Sins. Diane is allegedly in love with Meliodas as he treats her like a normal person instead of as a giantess that could squish any normal person.

Though Diane also initially has a problem with Elizabeth she does warm up to the princess.  Diane also would like to believe that she and Meliodas have a relationship its only really one of being comrades.

Ban BookmarkBan is one of the members of the Seven Deadly Sins and is the Fox's Sin of Greed. After the group's disbandment, Ban was initially imprisoned in the Baste Dungeon, but escaped when he discovered that Meliodas is still alive.  Ban is what one would call Meliodas's best friend.  He is also an immortal in that he literally cannot be killed.  Through the manga and anime he is shown taking mortal wounds that would kill anyone, but he regenerates in mere moments showing what it means to be immortal.

Ban is also alway playful, never serious and often acts when something catches his interest or someone is set on challenging him.  He is also a thief with a unique ability and skill set to steal nearly anything.  Ban is also an expert cook unlike Meliodas (whom always cooks food that is inedible to everyone but Hawk the pig).

King BookmarkKing is one of the members of the Seven Deadly Sins and is known as the Grizzly's Sin of Sloth. His real name is Fairy King Harlequin for he protects the Fairy King's Forest and the rest of the Fairy Realm.  King can change his form and has an array of abilities including those granted by his sacred treasure (his weapon).

Initially King has his own agenda when encountered but he soon rejoins the group.  He and Ban do not get along and frequently fight amongst themselves.

Gowther AnimeGowther is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins and is known as the Goat's Sin of Lust. Gowther is one of the more mysterious members of the team and possess a number of unusual capabilities such as being able to survive having his neck snapped.  Gowther seems to have difficulty relating to others on an emotional level, and is often analytical though his ability to analyze a situation is often extremely flawed.

Of all the sins Gowther has a secret none of the team would have even guessed at.

Now there are 2 other members of the team, though I wont' reveal who they are for those who are not familiar with the anime.  One will be revealed toward the end, but the other is only shown in a flash back in the next story arc of the manga, but has not been officially found yet by the group.

The show is a fun romp and gives a glimps of what a superhero might be like in a fantasy setting.

Audio is in enlglish (yes its dubbed), Japanese, French, German, and Spanish, along with subtitles.  So if you hate dubbed anime then your covered.

So enjoy the show, I certainly am.
