What its all about...

As a fan of table top Role Playing Games, and Video Games, not to mention anime I once had a web site that I devoted to creating conversions of the things I liked to a particular game system or another.

Well I'm back and its time to get back to posting and talking about the things I like with others.

Video Games: I will be trying to write reviews for games I play and may even work out conversions of games to table top RPG's for gamers to enjoy, or at least I will give a guiding hand rather than doing all the work myself. Unfortunately the only game system I own is an X-Box 360, and my computer which kind of limits what I can do. Unless some kind soul wants to buy me an X-Box One. :)

Table Top RPG's: I play a few different table top games along with my friends. Sometimes I will write about a game system I have read up on or tried out, and may write up a conversion for agame system. Game systems I typically play are - Hero System (Champions, Fantasy Hero); Star Wars (Fantasy Flight Version, Saga Edition); Savage Worlds, D&D (3.5 Edition, 5th Edition); Pathfinder, and possibly others in the future.

But I look forward to providing folks with some entertainment and to get some discussions going on things I may post (but please keep it civil).

Also please feel free to click on any ads that are on my blog here, doing so really helps me out.

Broadening out and being a Twit...

Hi everyone, so sorry I haven't posted much of late.  I've been working on several things.

First off I've upgraded my computer.  I now have an MSI Nvidia GTX 960 4G video card along with an AMD FX 6300 (Black Series) processor.  Yeah it's a nice set up.  6 core processor vs. a 4 core processor is a massive difference.

Now I played a few games trying my new setup out.  The first was with Assassin's Creed Syndicate.  Everything looks great, though I do have to dial the graphs back a little bit when I record.  But that's fine, I can still run things on High with no lag, just not very high.

Then I moved onto a game that I know has some issues:  Batman Arkham Knight.  Guess what - still has issues even with the better set up.  Even if I am not running OBS, I'm still getting lag in the game, which is ridiculous as there has been enough time in which this game should have been patched to fix these problems.  At least the lip sync is working right now.

But what else is going on that is keeping me busy?  Well I've been working on my home brew rules, which are coming along.  I've set into the combat section of this 1st draft and like with anything you do like things, its a process and it takes some time.  Once I get combat done then I have to go back and look over all the other sections and make sure that everything syncs up.

And that is not all.  Wednesday I was working and met a guy who is in the professional gaming area of things.  His name is Damian, and he along with a partner of his in another state, run Xedec Nation (you can find them on Twitter).  He's a nice guy and we chatted a bit after I decided to tell him about what I was doing.  Initially I didn't want to push my stuff on him after hearing about what he did, but I figured why not at least let him know about it because he could give some advice.

One piece of advice that I took away from our talk was to set up a Twitter account.  Why you may ask?  Well apparently Twitter offers a broader reach than Google+ or Facebook.  That being said I just got done setting up an account today:  Sean_Ropp.

Stay Tuned to my YouTube channel where I'm on a mission to get at least 100 subscribers by the end of the year.  Soon I'll be uploading my playthrough of Assassin's Creed Syndicate, followed by Tomb Raider possibly.  So please support me and help me to reach my goal of 100 (or more) subscribers!
